Before we could start our Father’s Day celebration I picked up Ashley and Brady from the airport Saturday night. We all got our beauty rest and were ready for a fun day outside. When we woke up we surprised our Daddy with a few little gifts I had hung on the wall outside our bedroom door.
Tommy got in a few snuggles with his girls and then we were ready to start the day. We hopped on our bikes and headed out for a little brunch.
I made reservations for all of us at Eat Street Social (a restaurant on our bucket list). They specialize in drink mixology and they also make some of the best homemade soda in the twin cities. We all enjoyed a breakfast sandwich and Tommy of course ordered Rootbeer, Ash and Brady ordered an Orange Dream, and I enjoyed a Social Fritz.

We continued our bike ride over to Sculpture Park. Zoe caught a few zzzz’s. Tommy took a few pictures of the newly engaged couple (Which you can see here). When Zoe woke up we let her stretch her legs and get a little energy out. I enjoyed watching Tommy and her run around the park.
We decided it was time to get out of the heat so we headed back home. We decided to take a tour through the city on our way back and show Brady and Ashley around the city a little more.
To escape the heat, but still have some fun we decided to check out the Mall of America. The boys rode a few rides at Nickelodeon Universe. After they were done on the rides we grabbed a quick dinner at the mall. Finally we called it a day and settled in for the night. (More on Ashley and Brady’s visit later)
Dear Tommy,
I know I don’t tell you enough how much I love you and how amazing of a dad you are to Zoe. This past year has been an amazing journey for our family. We appreciate you so much for the sacrifices you make. You are an incredible leader of our family. I enjoy the balance we have as we parent together. Zoe is a little bundle of energy and I know I couldn’t do it without you. I love the way you make Zoe laugh with such pure joy. I love watching how gentle you are with her. I am continually in awe of your talent and creativity. I am looking forward to watching your relationship with our daughter blossom throughout the next year. You are an awesome Dada, and don’t forget it!
Love,
Me
