Never in a million years would I guess my sister and I would have been pregnant at the same time let alone have our kids due the same month and then to be only delivered two days apart. So naturally we decided to throw their first birthday together.

Before I left we had decided on a theme and ordered some items from Oriental Trading. Once I arrived we had to
IMG_6358 IMG_6361 IMG_6373 IMG_6374Zoe filled our pinata with candy. Ashley and I repotted some cacti. I made more tissue flowers than I can count. We dropped off everything to the house and started to set up.
IMG_6442 IMG_6489 Thankfully on Friday Tommy, Ashley, Brady, my dad and Julie were able to set up tables, chairs, decorations, bake and frost cupcakes. Melinda and Cliff dropped off party platters and cupcake stands. Everything came together! Saturday morning we headed over to the house early and put the final touches on the party. We set up the cupcakes, bagged chips, Tommy picked up the food, Brady grabbed ice, Laura brought the cactus cookies (thank you so much!), Myrna brought the fruit and birthday cakes (thank you so much!), and I cut and bagged churros. It was time for a party! As people arrived it was so nice to hug everyone and see them! We miss our friends and family, so it was nice to have them all together for two special people’s birthdays. Thank you everyone who came out to celebrate with us and those that weren’t able to come we missed you. IMG_6639 IMG_6641IMG_6642IMG_6712IMG_6713IMG_6717IMG_6719IMG_6725IMG_6748IMG_6879IMG_6828IMG_6881IMG_7451IMG_6880IMG_6752IMG_6754IMG_6769IMG_6776IMG_6780IMG_6784We made ones for both of the kids, I didn’t get a shot of them hanging, but quickly snapped one of Grey’s since this time I was going to take it apart (I used the same 1 from Zoe’s party).
IMG_6865IMG_6857IMG_6886IMG_6834 Thanks for planning this party with me Ash! I know we had our differences, but I think it turned out to be a fun party! I would do it again! IMG_6701
