Tap, tap, 1, 2, 3,

Is this mic on? I want to acknowledge something. I know around these parts, on my blog and in my life I have shared my beliefs. Some may call it my soapbox, others, call it a platform, and then there is the buzz word influencer (I don’t by any means think I’m doing any such things). I like to call it sharing my heart. Call it what you want this is what’s going down around here. So if it doesn’t strike your fancy or you’re uninterested I highly recommend you stop reading right now and mosey on back to your regularly scheduled feed. And if you’re still interested go ahead and click the read more tab…go ahead I’ll meet you on the drop down.  Continue reading “Tap, tap, 1, 2, 3,”

On an instagram post I admitted to fighting, denying, and judging the momlife movement. Not because I’m not a mom, but generally speaking it is used to “complain” about being a mom, or it’s the proverbial shoulder shrug of oh well, momlife. Don’t get me wrong I have and will continue to admit that momming is not for the faint of heart. PóPó

Back in December my sister and I decided to go visit my Grandma or PóPó as Zoë calls her. It had been a year since we had last visited and as we all know you never know how long your loved ones will be here. Lucky for us she’s still here and she’s still as sassy as ever. It’s taken me some time to process our visit and with the holiday’s and just life I finally decided to share some of the pictures from our trip. Before we saw our grandma we made a quick stop in New York to meet my dad. It was a crazy fast trip, but we made the most of it! My favorite part of the trip has to be the snow. I was looking forward to a white Christmas, so it was fun to experience a little snow. Looking back I’m extremely thankful for the time I got with my family and we are fortunate enough to have been able to see the rest of our family for Christmas.  Continue reading “PóPó”
