We have a little confession to make. We have been keeping a secret from the internet. If you have seen me in the past few months, you probably already know. If you have talked to anyone that has seen me, they probably already told you, but we are taking it public today! We have been cooking up Baby P #2!! ETA June 17th. I am hoping to make it to the end of the school year, but who knows! We have been enjoying the last 20 weeks with lots of dinners out, family adventures and lots of cuddling. We recently found out if we are having a boy or a girl…check out the pictures to find out what’s in the oven.

Boo! October 2013
Continue reading “Boo! October 2013” Red, White, and Berries
05/26/2014 I just wanted to pop in and write a quick post about our weekend. I intend to catch up starting with the month of October 2013, but for now I wanted to say Happy Memorial Day! We truly understand that our freedom is not free and we appreciate all of the sacrifices that the men and women of this country make for our continued freedom. Girls Just Want to Have Fun
Hello, testing, testing… I have decided to dust off the keyboard and start blogging again. I was recently rereading some of the stories I have written here and the memories of the events came flooding back as I looked at all of the pictures. I don’t want to forget any of these moments in our life. They’re very special to us and help document what we have learned and how much we have grown. So expect more updates on the happenings of our life and our new adventures. Continue reading “Girls Just Want to Have Fun”
Let’s Ride
The holiday season always hits me pretty hard. It makes me think a lot about our life and our family. Lately I have been thinking about the past year. How we tried to drive across country after a HUGE snow storm. How we spent Zoe’s first holidays as a little family of three. This year was great being around family and we enjoyed every moment of the holiday season. I want to share a few things we loved about the past year. We spent most of the year in Minneapolis exploring and embracing the city life. Zoe learned to walk and talk. We grew as individuals and as a couple (there were a few trying moments), but we survived and we fell in love with Minneapolis. Okay so the winter was kind of long, we will admit that, but aside from that it was a pretty AWESOME experience. One of our favorite activities that we took advantage of was biking. Minneapolis is home to 200+ miles of biking trails and is a very bike friendly community. Living in the city it is an ideal mode of transportation and after surviving winter you want to spend A LOT of time outdoors. So we joined the bike club!
Goodbye for now Minneapolis
Sadly over the summer we bid Minnesota a farewell. Again it was a tough decision. Tommy’s company was doing a lot of downsizing (no, he was not downsized). We decided to make a proactive choice and return to California. Our family’s had just visited and we realized how much we missed everyone. So although we were sad to leave our adventure in Minneapolis, we were looking forward to exploring our home town with a fresh perspective. But before I get into our new journey I wanted to share our last weekend in Minneapolis plus a snippet of our move back to California.
Sami’s Visit
WOW!! It has been a long time, no blog. I know a few of you have kept up with us on insta, but for those of you that don’t I am going to back track a little before I resume blogging about our current adventures. As you may all know we have re-located BACK to California. But before we made the move we still had a few things to see and do in Minneapolis. We were lucky to share those adventures with SAMI!! This post will be mostly pictures that many of you haven’t seen and I look forward to re-living our last week in Minneapolis as a family.
Party of 8
The summer wouldn’t have been complete without a visit from Tommy’s side of the family, they bring the party with them. It was a full house for sure, but it was a ton of fun. Zoe could hardly contain her excitement and pulled several late nights and early mornings to get the most time with her uncles. I will let the pictures tell the story again since there are so many to share. Side note: these are the pictures I have, but there are A LOT more! Enjoy!
Brady and Ashley visit Minneapolis
I am going to let the pictures tell the story. We had a lot of fun visiting and showing Brady and Ashley around the city. . Enjoy a glimpse into their visit…
